Entry 344 - Judaism Tarot and Psychics

9/30/20

I’m curious as to why the Jews were told not to engage in Tarot readings or consult with psychics. What about Tarot reading is different from God and His angels communicating with His people? Does not God use angels, things, places, and people to communicate with others to help them? Is not Tarot a form of guidance from guides and angels, just like other methods? Why would the Jews, who are already channeling God and the angels in multiple ways, be told not to do it through a card deck?

Or why would “God” tell the Jews to refrain from consulting psychics? What about hearing someone’s words would be harmful unless one chose to accept them and live by them? Especially if psychics don’t have power over anyone’s lives and simply provide a general vision of where one is currently heading if no changes are made.

At the end of the day, it’s you who makes the choices about who you will be and where you will end up. If psychic readings are simply a possibility of chance, of something potentially happening, why would people be afraid? Technically, anybody who spoke about the future is a psychic, but they just used the word “prophet” instead.

I guess the real argument boils down to where the information comes from. It is believed that prophets spoke solely from God and psychics speak from demons, but how can that be declared as a fact? Because the Bible said so? Is the Bible (particularly the Old Testament) not the belief of the Jews, who had a particular bias towards a certain way of receiving information from celestial beings and apparently “God?”

Maybe the “God of the Jews” knew that tarot readings and psychics could pull the Jews away from the grip of “God” and cause them to follow a more unified, loving, and complete system that did not require them to have a patriarchal, racist, elite system responsible for millions of lives being lost in the name of God.

I’m not saying we know for sure who the God of the Jews is or isn’t, but I do wonder if the murder, genocide, rape, innocent lives being lost, strange commandments all over the Old Testament, the confusion, and the Jews constantly going from good to bad were truly the actions of a nation closest to and chosen by the true Creator Himself. Or potentially, if a confederation of negative complexes took the name of Creator, convinced the Jews that they (the negative forces) were the Creator, then used the Jews for their own purpose of conquest, destruction, and spreading negativity.

Again, all I am saying is I don’t believe the true Creator is responsible for all the negatives mentioned in the Bible. I believe a group of negatively oriented complexes is responsible for all the negative actions mentioned in the Bible (both from the Jews and from the opposing forces of the Jews). And because I believe that, it is hard for me to read the Bible and attribute all that which seems negative to the Creator in the Creator’s pure, undefiled, unmanifested, unified Beingness.

I ask you to ask yourself these questions:
Does the Creator of the Universe pick favorites?
Does the Creator of the Universe command not to murder but then command murder?
Does the Creator of the Universe believe in death for small crimes?
Does the Creator of the Universe require blood sacrifices for appeasement?
Does the Creator of the Universe require anything, or is the Creator of the Universe sufficient?

Is it truly holy to kill an animal to create a holy atmosphere for the Creator to talk to you?
