Numbers 33:52-53

"Then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places. And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it."

1 Samuel 15:3

"Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."

Deuteronomy 20:16-17

"But in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, but you shall devote them to complete destruction, the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded."

Deuteronomy 2:32-34

"Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz. And the Lord our God gave him over to us, and we defeated him and his sons and all his people. And we captured all his cities at that time and devoted to destruction every city, men, women, and children. We left no survivors."

Jeremiah 13:15-16

"Hear and give ear; be not proud, for the Lord has spoken. Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light he turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness."

I had to lose my faith in order to find it.

Entry 1,902 - July 6th, 2023

After going to my local Baptist pastor, I was a follower of Jesus before, but now I have officially become a follower of Jesus and the Christian religion.

The Christian religion helped me once again disassociate from my truth—I mean remove my healthy desires of being who I want to be. I mean fragmenting me in a powerful way so that I mimic that of the pillar of salt, such as Lot’s wife.

I am now proudly a prisoner of the Christian religion once more. If my vicar of Christ calls me to take arms against other religions, I will gladly obey, or else Yahweh God will kill me.

I am now extremely patient because I have once again detached from all of my emotions, suppressed them, and I’m in a constant state of survival mode. I only love the cross symbol because blood sacrifices are the surest way God shows His love out of all the other ways.

God could’ve just forgiven us with a snap of His ethereal finger He created from nothing, but instead, He chose to make His son suffer multiple hours on a cross with blood dripping out of open wounds because He demands a blood sacrifice for retribution.

This also teaches us that sacrifice is good and that we can demand meat from our animals because they serve us, not the other way around. If they kill us, it’s terrible, but if we kill them, it’s called lunch meat.

When we force someone to believe as we believe, and if they don’t change, they won’t be loved or accepted, we are displaying conditional love motivated by the ego.

The ego is motivated to change people how we want them to change, at the rate and time which our ego wants it.

It’s demanding. It’s angry. It is victimizing. It is intolerant of other beliefs that are not in line with ours. It creates a divide between their beliefs and ours.

It makes separation seem real and oneness seem fake. It is the great deceiver of reality, using beliefs as supposed evidence for separation being real and oneness being fake.

While meditating, I reflected on how someone could use the same religious terms—“God,” “Heaven,” “Paradise,” etc.—and yet be at completely differing levels of conscious experience around those terms.

Christians who may try to submit to the will of God still face the added issue of believing they are the ego rather than one with God.
They submit to the will of God as if they are not part of the will of God.
They deny their flesh as if they are a part of their flesh and separate from God.
They deny their will as if they are not part of God’s will.
Instead of acknowledging their ego as part of an illusory will that does not exist, they breathe life into it by assuming they are the ego.

Those who use A Course in Miracles become more and more aware that they are not the ego and that they are already one with the will of God.
They do not have to deal with the confusion of denying oneself out of existence because they no longer identify with the temporary ego, which never truly existed.
They are free to discover their eternity by following the thread of life that they have always been connected to.
They are free to explore their infinity through the acknowledgment of its connection to their inner continuity.
