Entry 297 - Bible Over Me Mindset

8/26/20 When people say “well without the Bible we wouldn’t know who God is”  I say to that, is that really so?  So you need someone else’s experiences to know God and not your own? To me, it shows me that they value other people’s experiences above their own. I mean, that is one of the main shiny attractors in religion. People say, “Hey look, they already have it all figured out. Hey, look they’ve been doing this much longer than we have, so of course we can trust them.”   Well, what about that religion that is older than Judaism in the East? Then they might say, “well, I was born into this religion, so I don't know. I just stay here. I don’t really go out. I’m comfortable with what I know in here.” See to me when people say they need the Bible to define their relationship with God what they’re actually saying is they need a book to define the religion they are choosing to adhere to because without it, what church do you go to? What people do you share beliefs with? How do you fin

Entry 296 - Boundaries For All

8/26/20 Having set and precise boundaries for each person is not a bad thing, it’s a form of self-respect and realizing your self-worth. Naturally, if you don’t, people could pass those bounds for their own benefit but not for yours, and it’s awkward having to go through that over and over again.  It turns you into a people pleaser because then it’s always on their terms because they know you’re okay with that. I don’t feel bad at all for having different precise boundaries for each person. For example, someone I know who is more hot-tempered and more attracted to conflict related scenarios, I make sure to be very aware, very open, very on guard so that I give them no ground to start a conflict of any type. I don’t go very deep into my personal life, I use not so charged words to make sure they don’t use any of my words for fuel to spiral into anger, and I make sure to not spend a lot of time with them. Other people I am more comfortable, and I’m not so on guard with everything I do or

Entry 295 - Do You Trust Yourself?

8/26/20   A low vibrational mindset that I notice amongst many Christians have is this belief: I cannot trust myself because my very nature is sinful. Because of this, the person then feels an added weight and pressure to derive any trust solely from what the Bible says instead of what their heart says in worry that they might be deceived by their own sinful heart. The problem with thinking like this is you become your own worst enemy. If you can’t trust yourself, how do you make any decisions? If you make decisions based off of other people’s decisions, how do you know those decisions are right for you? They might have been right for that person in that time period at that place, but it could be not helpful or even disastrous to make that same decision in this time period.  If you make decisions solely on the Bible which was orally passed down for two hundred years (OT) and tens of years (NT) to specific groups of people and try to shape and mold it for yourself, how are you certain y

Entry 294 - Ball of energy

8/26/20 From a scientific point of view, not a religious point of view, we are all energy vibrating at a certain frequency.   Since we are all equally energy, we are equal to each other. So to assume one “ball of energy” is better than another, to believe division, to believe in opposition, means you do not understand a key scientific principle that is in fact real and not merely a “belief”. You hurt your own evolutionary growth and hurt others by opposing, dividing, and hating others with whatever reason you convince yourself to do so.   But by accepting the scientific reality that we are all energy vibrating at a certain frequency and living that principle by loving, accepting and treating others how you would want to be treated, helps you to grow and evolve at a very fast and beneficial rate.

Entry 293 - Loving Yourself Can Be a Process

8/26/20  Loving yourself can be a process, but you can start a little bit day by day. Trust that you’re trying your best. Don’t let other people’s opinions bring you down. Know that you are loved. You are beautiful and by loving yourself, you empower others to do the same. I love you all.

Entry 292- Favorite Quotes From Seth Speaks Part 3

8/23/20 These following quotes from this book Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts really pulled on my heart strings and brought forth that which I already knew deep down, but was reminded of through reading this and through further self-reflection. If you have an open mind while you read and consider these words, you might just learn a little more about yourself and become even more motivated to change your life. Creativity “Now: Periods of reverie and creative moments of consciousness both represent excellent entryways into these other areas. In the usual creative state of consciousness, the regular waking consciousness is suddenly supported by energy from these other areas. Waking consciousness alone does not give you the creative state. Indeed, normal waking consciousness can be as afraid of creative states as it is of blank states, for it can feel that the I is being thrust aside, can feel the upthrust of energy that it may not understand.” “It is precisely in the low points of fluctuation

Entry 290 - Favorite Quotes From Seth Speaks Part 2

8/23/20 These following quotes from this book Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts really pulled on my heart strings and brought forth that which I already knew deep down, but was reminded of through reading this and through further self-reflection. If you have an open mind while you read and consider these words, you might just learn a little more about yourself and become even more motivated to change your life. Topic on God “History, as you know it, represents but one single light upon which you focus. You interpret the events that you see therein, and you project upon its glimmer your interpretation of events that may occur. So entranced is your concentration, that when you wonder about the nature of reality you automatically confine your question to this one small flickering moment that you call physical reality. When you ponder upon the aspects of God, you unthinkingly speak of the creator of that one light. That light is unique, and if you truly understood what it was, you would indeed u
