In the Bible, it says God is everywhere. He is in all, through all, with all, and there is no where He cannot be. However, many times the writers of the Bible have asked God why He is hiding His face, or not with them, or far away. If God cannot help but be everywhere at all times, how is He also not somewhere? So objectively He is all in all, everywhere, but then subjectively according to these people's experiences, He can feel as if He is far away. Is this a contradiction? No because one is an objective fact and the other is a point of view of that fact.
