Random Thought: Are you embarrassed?

Me: The only thing I'm embarrassed about was pretending to be someone I'm not for 10 years of my life.

Entry 212.1 - About Meditation

Meditation can activate bioelectric energy, and with practice, you can direct this energy to the pineal gland, stimulating and helping it open.

For meditation to be effective, your mind must become still so the scattered energy in your body can consolidate.

This relaxed focus releases neuropeptides and nitric oxide, triggering the relaxation response. These chemicals allow you to move into deeper meditation while stimulating the third eye region.

Melatonin, the primary chemical produced and circulated by the pineal gland, increases in meditators' brains, as studies have shown.

Using functional MRI scans, researchers at Taiwan University found that meditation activates the pineal gland.

A study involving two individuals during an ayahuasca (DMT) experience showed increased “global EEG coherence in the 36-44 Hz and 50-64 Hz frequency bands.” These frequency bands are known as gamma waves.

Next, consider what brainwave frequencies correlate with melatonin production in the pineal gland. The answer: delta waves, which occur during deep, dreamless sleep.

During REM sleep, the brain is active with theta waves, and theta and gamma waves work together during this stage.

To use brainwave entrainment for pineal gland activation, employ binaural beats and isochronic tones that activate delta, theta, and gamma frequencies.

I think the reason there’s such an element of mystery surrounding our existence is that maybe—just maybe—we're meant to discover something profound.

Maybe there’s more than religion, more than education, more than where you live or who you marry. Maybe the point isn’t solely about building a relationship with God, family, and friends, but about "solving the puzzle" or "winning the game of life." Perhaps the setup, where no one truly knows, is part of the game.

When you accept "what is" in every moment as the best possible outcome, that is enlightenment.

Entry 212.4- February 13th

Look in the mirror. Don’t label yourself, don’t judge yourself—just look. The person you see has endured so much. You’ve faced some of life’s hardest challenges, and you got through them. Here you are, standing strong. Remember when you thought you couldn’t make it through that trial? Look at you now. You did it. Remember when they said you couldn’t do it or tried to bring you down? You’re still here, standing tall.

You’ve experienced incredible highs and crushing lows, but here you are. Alive. Breathing. You still have so many years to live life to the fullest. So, focus on every single moment. Be so immersed in the present that you’re fascinated by life and curious about everything. Give your fullest attention to the present, to yourself, and to others. Seek out ways to improve someone’s life—not in a few days or months, but right now.
